TURKISH MUHAMMARA DIP – Pomegranate Molasses is the secret ingredient!

Turkish Muhammara Dip is a delicious red pepper sauce or dip from the Middle East.  Many people probably know it as Syrian or Turkish red pepper sauce, which is very popular in both countries.  Served with a big basket of warm No Yeast Cilantro Oil Flatbread, it’s absolutely fabulous!

homemade pomegranate molassesIt’s super fast and easy to make, with most of the work being done by your food processor.

After roasting a few sweet red bell peppers to char the skin and lend a smoky flavor, it’s almost done!  Adding toasted walnuts and a nice dose of Pomegranate Molasses are the keys to making this delicious dip so flavorful.

I absolutely adore homemade Pomegranate Molasses!  It’s thick, tangy and packs a depth of flavor unequaled by any other sweetener.

I’m so addicted to it, I’ll pop a hot spoon into the cold jar, pull it out, and have an instant “lolly” to enjoy while I’m busy in the kitchen.  Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it!
