Mocha Hazelnut Specialty Coffee

Yield: 2 servings
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes

Sophisticated flavors combine for a delicioius "coffee-house" treat, perfect for Sunday morning breakfast in bed.


  • 2 cups hot brewed coffee
  • 1/3 cup half-and-half
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. chocolate hazelnut spread, room temperature (I use Nutella)
  • Canned whipped cream for topping cups if desired
  • Ground cinnamon or nutmeg for garnish, optional


  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the coffee, half-and-half and sugar. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until hot and sugar is dissolved.
  2. Take off heat, stir in nutella until completely melted.
  3. Pour into 2 large cups, top with whipped cream and ground cinnamon if desired.
