Crispy Garlic Hummus Dip is so quick and easy when you start with pre-made hummus, and then top it with crispy, spicy chickpeas!

Crispy Garlic Hummus

Yield: 2 cups
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 22 minutes
Total Time: 32 minutes

So quick and easy when you start with pre-made hummus, and then top it with crispy, spicy chickpeas!

Ingredients

  • Two 8 oz. Garlic Hummus
  • Can Chickpeas
  • Olive Oil
  • Kosher Salt
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • Garlic Powder
  • Cayenne Powder
  • Red Pepper Flakes

Instructions

Purchase two 8 ounce tubs of prepared garlic hummus.  Drain and dry one can of chickpeas.  Place on rimmed baking sheet in a single layers.  Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle with kosher salt, pepper, garlic powder, and a pinch of cayenne.  Toss well.

Roast in a 425° oven for 12-15 minutes.  Take pan out, shake pan to
toss chickpeas, and return to oven for 5-7 more minutes.  Let cool. 

TO SERVE:  Place hummus in a bowl or platter in a mound.  Drizzle with olive oil, top with roasted chickpeas and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes to finish.
